I talked to Carol today and she told me all the Morgan kiddos are doing well, and talked of all the child star notariety that Archer has been getting.
He even gets called and asked to audition for things now. ARCHER - YOU ROCK!
His upcoming appearances include singing a solo with the Portland Boys Choir and is Anna's son in The King and I during the next few months.

Go, Archer! I'm looking forward to seeing the production!
dude! i'm so proud. *wipes a tear*
Thanks for the post. Unfortunately CAROL is not doing that well or I would have posted myself, but blogs are supposed to be about what's NEW. I hope it does work out for you to come. It has been running me ragged to keep up with these these kids and all their obligatory activities. It is not even limited anymore to just dance classes or whatever, it is pretty much all by invitation only stuff now for all of them.
Drake just got his first "star" on Helium (designating his first milestone in writing quality and significantly contributing to earnings, I have four so I rake it in pretty good) which is pretty amazing because there are always a ton of adults whining about how they can't get any. He's pretty shy and won't even let me proofread his stuff, so I really can't take any credit. But he is definitely a thinker. It is really fun because S and I used to bemoan the lack of people that like to talk about obscure philosophical issues that are snoozers to most people.
The boys are ALL doing REALLY well on guitar. Like AMAZING. And Sadie is singing a solo with her elem. school choir also = Jeanette Isabella, one of my fav Christmas songs. It is adorable. She has such a sweet "little girl" voice.
And Sadie might be destined to be rather like me. Poor thing.
But she asked me to teach her French the other day because she sings a verse of JI in French, the original language it was written in.
I didn't know how I could teach a foreign language without teaching categories like nouns verbs and so on. I was part way through it and I said "Sorry, this is pretty boring but I'll be through in a minute."
She said (not exaggerating) THIS isn't boring. This is REALLY interesting! And she learned it really fast too. She was guessing things like the difference between nominative and objective case and all kinds of stuff that I seriously didn't expect. I had students at the BYU writing lab that were harder nuts to crack. A linguist is born!
Just so you all know, I was on the H front page and didn't want all that traffic to my personal blog. (It was guy Fox day and I had written two articles about Guy and the history of it:
"Do you remember the fifth of November
The night of the gunpowder plot?
I see no reason why gunpowder treason
Should EVER be forgot....
But I actually think that it is a good idea to keep it private because I get a lot of browsing around on my sites through H--TONS, and it's a little awkward to think that strangers are checking it out. So if anyone wants to be invited to my blog, send me a hey at camorgan@stanfordalumni.com.
Oh, and could all y'all that want to be included on my blog invites please let me know the email you want me to use. I am so lazy or incompetent or something and I don't know if I could mine all of them from anywhere.
